About the Role:

Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks and distributes merchandise, products and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing lines. Survey Tip: Employees matched to this job family may be known as warehouse associates, shipping, receiving, pick-packs, or stores clerks.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

Accurately pick product based on part number and quantities on assigned pick lists

Maintain records of merchandise shipped

Report discrepancies accurately

Meet and maintain departmental productivity standards

Ensure housekeeping is a daily priority

Work as part of a team

Ensure co-worker safety and departmental security

Perform additional duties as assigned by Supervisor

Assist in departmental coverage as required, including weekends if needed

Work in a safe manner. Be conscientious at all times, of safety on the job, by adhering to the established health and safety measures and practices of the company. Report workplace hazards and any violations to the employer.

What We\'re Looking For:

Previous warehouse experience is required

Basic computer knowledge

Good basic math skills

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Meet weight lifting requirements of up to 50 lbs on a regular basis

Be able to stand for long periods of time

High School diploma or GED equivalent
