SHIPPING COORDINATOR

Job Summary

The Shipper will be responsible for coordinating and executing the shipping of lumber products, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

This is a salary position with a comprehensive benefit package.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and load lumber products for shipment according to schedules and customer requirements Verify shipment contents against orders and documentation Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation Inspect products and packaging to ensure quality and safety standards Counting inventory in the yard Communicating with dispatch and drivers Follow all safety protocols while directing trucks in the yard

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in shipping/receiving Ability to work in a team environment or independently with little supervision Must have great counting and tallying skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Schedule flexibility - as work may require day and weekend shifts Valid class BC license / Basic computer skills required The applicant may do additional duties as required
