Our team in Montreal currently has an opening for a Shipping Clerk

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Salary and Job title to be determined by Collective Bargaining agreement
  • Performs role in a manner that is reflective of Brenntag's Core Values, within regulatory requirements and company policies, programs and expectations;
  • Ensures a safe work environment at all times, reporting unsafe conditions immediately to Site Management;
  • Provides daily scheduling support and liaises with appropriate personnel to achieve results including the resolution of scheduling, inventory, and/or other conflicts that would affect the quality of product or service being provided;
  • Processes incoming and outgoing documentation in SAP business system in a timely manner;
  • Creates daily production/sample labels in conjunction with production schedules;
  • Responds to internal and external customer specific documentation requests in a timely manner;
  • Inputs and maintains customer and production data in the SAP business system and generates reports as requested;
  • Supports and follows Brenntag's 'Job 7' product shipment best practices initiatives;
  • Completes other administrative tasks and special projects as assigned by the Site Manager.

YOUR PROFILE
  • Chemical background (Experience preferred)
  • Secondary School Education; College Diploma in business or equivalent would be preferred
  • Bilingual written and speaking
  • Computer skills (SAP knowledge an asset)
