Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: The Receiving Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and management of the employees in the warehouse and will be responsible for the following:
Supervise and train employees on how to receive, process, package, label, and ship our products.
- Ensure all product is properly labeled and packaged to ensure product accuracy.
- Ensure all inventory is properly rotated.
- Ensure all materials are properly used for packaging.
- Perform inventory counts daily.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Supervise and manage the warehouse employees.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of product from the plant to the warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining a clean work environment.
- Assist in maintaining a safe work force by following safety procedures and making suggestions for safety improvements as needed.
- Assist in maintaining good customer relations by serving customers promptly, accurately fill out customer orders, and following up when needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures including safety procedures and confidentiality of client information.
