About Us:

Here at Valley Agro we specialize in design and construction of grain systems and feed systems for both farm and commercial use. This consists of grain, seed and feed storage and handling. We can manage the complete project from design, to concrete, to the complete build, including control systems.

Position Overview:

As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing product. This includes receiving materials, organizing inventory, preparing orders for delivery or pickup, doing some deliveries, and ensuring all documentation is accurate.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload trucks and shipments of grain storage and handling equipment

Inspect and verify incoming goods against packing slips or invoices

Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse

Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging and documentation

Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (experience preferred)

Assist in basic maintenance of equipment and tools

Assist customers looking for products on the yard

Take out deliveries to customer's yards

Assist with inventory counts

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a shipping/receiving role preferred

Experience operating forklifts and material-handling equipment preferred

Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to maintain equipment are an asset, but not required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Valid drivers license required

Compensation:

Wages will be based on capabilities and experience.
