Seven Horses Transport Ltd. is looking for a reliable and organized

Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

to take charge of the daily flow of goods in and out of our yard. This is a hands-on role where you'll be working directly with loaders, drivers, and customers to make sure shipments are accurate, on time, and handled safely.

What You'll Do:

Prepare and check all inbound and outbound shipping documents Work with customers and drivers to make sure shipments go smoothly Supervise and support loaders during loading and unloading Keep the yard organized and materials stored safely Track inventory for steel and other customer products, making sure counts are accurate Handle customer questions and build good working relationships Watch for safety issues and help enforce safe practices in the yard Look for ways to improve shipping and receiving processes
What We're Looking For:

2-3 years of experience in shipping & receiving, inventory, or yard operations (experience with steel is a big plus) Strong organizational skills and ability to keep track of multiple shipments at once Comfortable using shipping paperwork and basic computer programs (Excel, ERP systems a bonus) Experience leading or supervising loaders, or a willingness to step into that responsibility Good communication skills and a customer-first attitude Forklift experience and certification preferred (or willing to get certified) Physically able to work in a yard setting, including lifting and moving materials as needed Knowledge of workplace safety practices
