Your role:

As part of the mechanical workshop supervisor's team and working in close collaboration with the validation center team as well as the product development teams, the selected person will have as main responsibilities to ensure sound management of the product inventory as well as the receipt and shipment of merchandise.

We need you for:

• Track receipts and shipments as required by team members and/or customers;
• Make entries in the ERP system for receipts and shipments;
• Prepare the paperwork required for shipments including customs documents;
• Perform the preparation and packaging of items to be sent;
• Track transportation costs and look for reduction opportunities;
• Keep the store's inventory base up to date for consumable products (ex: PPE);
• Maintain an optimal level of inventory;
• Follow up on scrap and recyclable materials with suppliers;
• Be responsible for moving equipment on the Magog site;
• Assist the WHMIS manager in the control of hazardous materials.

What do you need to possess for being successful:

• You hold a high school diploma;
• You have 3 to 5 years of experience in similar functions;
• You have experience as a forklift driver;
• You have knowledge of international shipping and harmonized codes (HS);
• You have experience in the control of hazardous materials (WHMIS);
• You are fluent in English and French (written and spoken);
• You frequently use the Office Suite (mainly Excel);
• You have already used an ERP system (SAP, an asset);
• You have the ability to occasionally lift weights up to 30 pounds;
• You have the skills to solve problems using a structured methodology;
• You are a dynamic and positive person who loves teamwork;
• You are a person concerned about using safe tools and work methods.
