Load and unload shipments by hand or use of forklift/reach truck.
Inspect incoming and outgoing goods against invoices or other documents for accuracy, record inaccuracies and report damages.
Determine method of shipment and arrange carriers, prepare Bill of Lading, Customs Forms, and other shipping documents, manually and electronically.
Assemble and prepare goods to be shipped - palletizing goods, labelling, wrapping, etc.
Warehousing and movement of goods from production/receiving to appropriate inventory location. Includes movement of production materials as required for work order process.
Utilize software/ERP to manage orders and monitor inventory levels.
Advise purchasing/production team when stock levels are low.
Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards - Standard PPE (CSA approved Steel-Toes, gloves, etc.).
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment and ensure efficient processing to avoid backlogs.
Assist with Shop Equipment when needed - rental returns, equipment inspections, incoming and outgoing field inventory, etc.
Requirements
Minimum 3 Years' experience in a similar role
Previous experience working with an ERP would be considered an asset
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
High accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work with minimal supervision
A team-oriented style
Excellent verbal and written communications
Physical ability to lift loads up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
Valid forklift license or certification; experience operating reach trucks is highly desirable
