Qualifications:

Candidate should have a high school education. Must be fluent in English. Must have a valid tow motor operation certificate and at least 3 years experience. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must have a valid driver's license. Candidate must be competent in using Microsoft office, including Word, email and Excel. Candidate should have experience in inventory management, picking and packing parts, and materials handling and storage. Candidate must be proficient in providing customer service, problem solving and have experience in inventory management. Candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to work both independently with little supervision and as part of a larger team. Must be reliable, demonstrate commitment and have a very good attendance record.

Overall Role:

This position plays a key roll in the company by effectively managing the inventory, packaging up and shipping all parts and system orders for ship out, and receiving all inbound parts and materials for manufacturing or assembly. Completion of daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts, receiving goods into ERP software, and daily engagement in inventory management including storage of materials, bar code scanning, and tagging of all parts and materials. A critical part of this role is inventory management and organization including completion of weekly cycle counts. Accuracy to ensure all shipments are complete and correctly packaged to eliminate the potential for damage. This position liaises directly with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing and Assembly and Installation.

Duties:



Responsible for safely receiving all inbound shipments, recording goods received and identifying what was short shipped, putting all stock away in the proper locations for storage and access and processing related paperwork. Responsible for organizing all inventory, ensuring tagging of materials, and materials management for production efficiency. Responsible for building skids for shipping goods out and properly packaging all materials for shipout to ensure there is no damage during shipping, and then loading onto trailers for shipout ensuring all paperwork is correct. Responsible for all inventory organization to ensure all parts and materials are organized for easy access for staff and to conduct weekly or ad hoc cycle counts. Responsible for conducting weekly, monthly and quarterly cycle counts for inventory and communicating inventory levels to Production Coordinator, Shop Supervisor and Purchasing Completes purchase requisitions for all B & C materials required based cycle count results and submits to purchasing after analysis of upcoming production schedule. Receives goods into ERP - Visual Manufacturing Database. Keeps inventory on all welding gases, supplies and propane for tow motors and places weekly order with vendor. Responsible for accurately picking all parts orders and packaging them up for shipment within 24 hours of order receipt. Visualize how to build skids to ship over-dimension products in a way that will minimize shipping costs. Build skids to custom requirements. Responsible for organizing and managing inventory including tagging of parts and materials for inventory control. Responsible for the care and maintenance of both tow motors, including maintenance activities, such as checking and topping up oil and fluid levels. Responsible for attending daily production meetings, and being aware of all orders scheduled for shipout so that all skids and packaging are done in response to shipping deadlines. Responsible for taking pictures of all skids and materials prior to packaging for shipout to confirm everything has been included on the order in case required for follow-up.

HOURS OF WORK:



Hours are Monday - Thursday 7:30 - 5:00 pm, Friday 7:30 - 4:00 pm. Must be on call to work overtime for critical shipments including weekends as required.

WORK CONDITIONS:



This position requires indoor and outdoor work. Adherence to all Occupational Health and Safety Requirements.

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
