Job Overview

Busy-Bee Sanitary Supplies is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team for a 5-month term (January to May 2026 with possibility of extension). This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, supporting overall warehouse operations, and maintaining inventory integrity.

Responsibilities

Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or manual methods while adhering to safety protocols Prepare outgoing shipments by accurately picking orders through warehouse management systems and order pickers Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting for damages or discrepancies Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation Maintain accurate records of shipped and received goods, including quantities and condition Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas for optimal efficiency Follow safety procedures during all handling, loading, and unloading tasks Collaborate with team members to meet shipping deadlines and improve overall warehouse operations

Experience

Previous experience in shipping & receiving within a warehouse or distribution center preferred Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or other warehouse equipment required; certification preferred Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes including order fulfillment, order picking, and packaging Basic math skills necessary for counting inventory and verifying shipments accurately Warehouse experience involving load & unload procedures is beneficial
This role requires a dependable individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment. The position plays a critical part in ensuring smooth logistics operations within our facility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
