Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. This role requires hands-on experience with various warehouse equipment and systems to facilitate smooth logistics processes.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading shipments. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage orders. Perform shipping and receiving duties including packaging, labeling, and preparing items for transport. Ensure accurate order picking, packing, and fulfillment in accordance with customer specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocking shelves as needed. Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes. Utilize basic math skills for inventory management and order verification.

Requirements

Proven experience in a warehouse setting with a focus on shipping & receiving operations. Proficient in using warehouse management systems. Experience operating various warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers. Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks accurately under time constraints. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods of time. Basic math skills necessary for inventory counting and order processing.
