With a continued focus on service and customer relationships, Quartz Co is growing rapidly and looking for team members who will help to support and grow our brand in the Ontario market. Job Overview As a Warehouse Shipper you are responsible for organizing and assembling A-frames of completed jobs to ship to various sites to be unloaded and installed. These jobs will be made up of countertops and vanities of quartz, marble, granite, and porcelain.

This position will work day shift. Hours are: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Responsibilities and Duties Responsibilities for this position include:

Pick jobs to be loaded onto A-frames from list provided. Load and pack A-frames to ensure pieces are not broken in transit. Ensure appropriate supplies such as sinks, glue, silicone and plywood are included in the shipment for installation. Organize warehouse area so pieces of stone are easily accessible and jobs in order. Unload the truck coming with slabs safely and put it into the inventory. Slab smith and check each slab coming from different vendors. Bringing and organizing the offsite locations. Keeping up with the inventory control and dumping away all the waste pieces/ remnant into the stone bin. Coordinating with material ordering team for inventory requirements for production. Additionally, keeping up with programming team for any requirements related to production. Managing and organizing parking lot with slabs and remnant. Adherence to workplace safety rules and regulations, ensuring health and safety is a priority Safeguard warehouse operations and contents.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility is preferred Ability to operate a forklift and overhead crane High school diploma or GED Strong attention to detail Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise Ability to push, pull and move equipment and stone more than 50 lbs. Positive and professional attitude

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
