Position Overview:
The Shipper Receiver will be responsible for the receiving, storing, and shipping of parts and supplies within our Parts Department. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of parts inventory to our technicians and customers. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy are key components of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately receive and inspect incoming parts and supplies, ensuring all shipments are correct and undamaged.
• Stock and organize parts in the appropriate locations within the parts inventory system.
• Prepare and package parts for shipping, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers and other departments.
• Assist with parts inventory control, including conducting regular cycle counts and stock audits.
• Collaborate with the Parts Department team to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient inventory management.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting with parts inquiries and ensuring parts availability for technicians and customers.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Previous experience in a parts department or shipping/receiving role preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy parts (up to 50 lbs).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record are preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
