About the Role

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented

Shipper/Receiver

to join our logistics team at our

Markham facility

. The ideal candidate will ensure the accurate, compliant, and efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments for our growing

medical device company

, serving customers across

Canada, the United States, and Europe

.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments in accordance with domestic and international shipping requirements (Canada, U.S., Europe). Create and maintain all shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, customs declarations, and tracking records. Coordinate pickups and deliveries with carriers and freight forwarders. Receive incoming goods from global suppliers, verify quantities, inspect for damage, and record all receipts accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment aligned with company quality management and Health Canada requirements. Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely and efficiently (valid forklift certification required). Follow all company

policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines

to ensure traceability, product safety, and compliance as part of a licensed

medical device establishment

. Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

1-3 years of shipping/receiving experience (manufacturing or medical device industry preferred).

Valid Forklift Certification

and demonstrated safe operation of warehouse equipment. Knowledge of international shipping documentation and customs procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 13485 or similar) is an asset. Computer literacy (experience with ERP or shipping software an advantage). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
