The Job:

Shipper/Receiver is primarily focused on getting the right parts to the right people at the right time. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for pulling auto parts orders, engaging with customers, and lifting merchandise up to 50-60 pounds for deliveries.

Work with Parts Management to locate any parts not in stock. Complete special order part request for any parts that need to be ordered for the customer. Communicate with Employees, Management and customer/s on the status of any parts ordered and notify them upon delivery to the dealership. Perform other duties as assigned. Serve as backup to parts or stocking clerk as necessary. Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner. Must follow all company policies; as well as safety policies and procedures. Ensures that every Riverview customer has enjoyed their overall experience by delivering efficient and friendly service Understand and follow federal, provincial and local regulations applicable to manufacturer and industry.

The Qualifications required:

Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract report Able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment Maintaining order integrity by verifying parts being delivery is accurately captured on the Invoice Be able to prioritize and have excellent time management skills Must have 1-2 years Automotive Dealership - Ford Parts experience with proficient computer skills PBS software experience an asset Capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to and including 50lbs during your shift Strong automotive dealership parts background with a solid attention to detail. A customer friendly and engaging personality Complete reports to record problems Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive parts Clean and maintain the work environment Strong English communication both written and spoken Clean Drivers Abstract Valid Drivers License Positive friendly, professional, and outgoing personality Work in a team-based environment and achieve common goals. High School Diploma or equivalent
