Key Responsibilities



Communication cross department & supervisors



Responsible to communicate with packaging supervisor to understand the daily/weekly Orders per Driver and fulfill each order on time Coordinate with packaging & production supervisor to ensure there is enough product for regular & abnormal (larger) orders Communicate with packaging team leads and ensure there is a sufficient packaging material on hand and placed in the correct area with product label and date code Communicate high or low stocks of any products with packaging supervisor Inform packaging supervisor about old product that have not been used or stored in an incorrect place

CCP/Quality Assurance/Quality Control



Ensure all products received have been documented and meet Samosa and Sweet Factory (SSF) quality standards Products received are stored in the correct environment (cooler, freezer, or shelf) with traceability code and product label Report products that have gone bad or have the potential of going bad to supervisor and quality control team Ensure that each tray or container being is shipped is presentable and meets SSF quality standard. Conduct and report random quality/quantity check (pc, weight & presentation)

Team Management



Ensure all orders are completed and ready for shipment or pickup for time of delivery Ensure that the team is following FIFO (First in First Out) when packaging and using product from the cooler and freezer When placing or taking product in the cooler or freezer, move older date coded product to the front of the rack/shelf. Report to packaging supervisor about any old date coded product that have not been used. Print and verify correct labels, date code and expiry are being applied for product packed daily. Ensure that all prep work is complete, and equipment is available for the team to start the shift Report team member that are coming in late, taking extra breaks or misusing work hours Report to packaging supervisor and maintenance team about any broken or maintenance work for tools, tables, equipment within the work area.

Inventory Control



Complete daily/weekly inventory with packaging & production supervisor Clean and organize cooler/freezer to complete FIFO (First in First Out) practices Report low stocks of packaging materials

Mandatory Experience Requirements



Minimum 2 years of experience working in a warehouse using pallet trucks and lift trucks Experience using manual and/or computerized inventory systems Must have Forklift and G driver's license High School diploma or equivalent English speaking and writing must Great organizational skills Able to work in fast-paced environment and have great attention to detail Understand and apply standard practice instructions. Good communication skills and customer service oriented Must be able to work well independently and in team environment 1 to 2 years of experience in either team lead/shipper/receiver role Forklift License Basic Math knowledge Inventory management (kept record of inventory) Food safety knowledge G Licenses Nice to have: experience driving 26 straight box truck
Physical Requirements:

Ability to be on feet up to 8-10 hours per shift Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, and lift frequently Ability to lift to 70LB
