Job Description

Our Corner Brook branch is a busy, team-oriented facility within Battlefield Equipment Rentals that places a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction. The Shipping and Receiving position is an important one for our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for the shipping & receiving operations of the branch; Ensure all shipping documents are accurate and submitted; Responsible for yard, shop, & warehouse organization and cleanliness; Assist customers picking up and returning product; Assist with fleet drivers and outside carriers; General assessment of tools returned from rental; Maintain a safe working environment; Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

The ability to provide various shipping and receiving duties in a busy, potentially stressful environment; Existing knowledge of construction equipment and building products, with hands-on experience in minor repairs and service/maintenance requirements for various types of construction equipment; Excellent paperwork and organizational skills, with an affinity for process management; Ability to work independently when required; Willingness to adapt to possible overtime hours; Good communication and people skills;

Additional Qualifications

Applicant must be able to perform heavy lifting, as heavy lifting will be required frequently;

$20.00 per hour
