Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper inventory control, and maintaining efficient warehouse operations. This role is vital to ensuring timely order fulfillment and smooth warehouse distribution processes.

Duties

Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and accurately Receive incoming goods, inspect for damages or discrepancies, and update inventory records Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP, and AS400 to track inventory movements and order status Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment in accordance with customer specifications Maintain accurate documentation of all shipping and receiving activities Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy Operate order pickers and other equipment to facilitate efficient order fulfillment Ensure compliance with safety procedures during all warehouse operations Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock locations for easy access

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or related roles Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRP, and AS400 platforms Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment (certification preferred) Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and e-commerce fulfillment requirements Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order accuracy Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and packaging tasks Ability to operate equipment safely and follow safety protocols at all times Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Prior experience with order fulfillment systems such as order picker tools is a plus
