About the Role:

As a

Shipper/Receiver

, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and accurate flow of materials, components, and finished products in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for organizing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring all goods are handled safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and sign for deliveries, ensuring goods are damage-free and match purchase orders Ship, receive, and organize materials, components, and equipment ranging in size from small parts to large machinery Load and unload trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment Pick, palletize, crate, box, wrap, and securely package products for transport and storage Maintain an organized and clean shipping and receiving area Ensure all stored items are secure, properly labeled, and safely positioned in the warehouse or yard Use computer systems (inventory software, email, spreadsheets) and communication tools (telephone, 2-way radio) to complete daily tasks Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation Assist with inventory counts and maintain stock accuracy Follow all LJ Welding safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment in good working order Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Prior experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing environment required Forklift certification and experience operating material-handling equipment Proficient with software including Smartsheet, Excel, and freight carrier systems Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Effective verbal and written communication abilities Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive bending, kneeling, and stretching Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
