About the Role - What You'll Do
As a
Shipper/Receiver
, you play a key role in ensuring materials flow seamlessly through our operations. You'll be the link between production, suppliers, and logistics -- helping us deliver exceptional results for every project.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain compliance with company
Quality
and
Safety
standards in all operations.
Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
Anticipate material needs and coordinate the movement of parts across departments.
Ensure materials are available on time to keep production on schedule.
Identify and communicate potential shortages or delays to management.
Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and responsibly.
Perform additional duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Respect all confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma and
2+ years of experience
in manufacturing, production, or material handling.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Ability to operate
3,500 lb - 10,000 lb capacity forklifts
safely and effectively.
Able to work in all weather seasons
Assets (Set You Apart):
1-2 years of experience with
international shipping
.
Valid
Forklift certification
.
TDG
and/or
WHMIS
certification.
Experience with
Lean Manufacturing
principles.
Knowledge of
tariff and harmonized system (HS) codes
.
Familiarity with
ERP/MRP software systems
.
