Key responsibilities:
  • Accept product into the building, which includes: inspection, counting, documents.
  • Inspect and receive the product into systems (Accepting Database & Syteline as required).
  • Identify, label and pack products for storage or shipment.
  • Put received Raw Materials, Finished Goods and supplies away, or re-route as needed.
  • Issue and Transfer Supplies, Finished Goods and Raw Materials as needed/requested.
  • Operate forklift and reach truck as needed by Shipping, Receiving, and Central.
  • Prepares proper Shipping / Customs Documentation for the movement of goods.
  • Package, Label and Ship products as required.
  • Deal with Carriers / Trucking companies as needed.
  • Route paperwork to all departments.
  • File records/documents and update records as required.
  • Maintain levels of routine packaging and other supplies maintained by the department.
  • Perform Physical Inventory Counts as directed/required.
  • Pick, Pull and Prepare parts for shipments as required.
  • General warehouse upkeep as required.
  • Perform other duties/special projects as assigned.


What you bring to Ampco:
  • Previous experience in shipping and receiving, picking orders, completing bills of lading, and working with major carriers (FedEx, UPS, DHL).
  • Reliable with strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
  • Basic knowledge or experience in international shipping documentation and procedures.
  • Accuracy in data entry with strong computer and MS Office skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems. ( Experience in Syteline will be an advantage).
  • Ability to manage workflow pressures and competing priorities.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid license for both standard and high-reach lift trucks/ forklifts. (Training will be provided)
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification. (Training will be provided)
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Patience, with the ability to work calmly under pressure.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize a busy workload.
  • Highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good team player, supportive and helpful.
  • Excellent work ethic, self\xe2\x80\x93motivated and driven.
