Job Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILTIES:

Responsible for scanning to receipt Ensure dock locks or wheel chocks are in place while loading/off-loading trucks with a Forklift Operating a Forklift to load and unload trucks as required Complete necessary shipping/receiving documents as per process manual Organize warehouse part storage locations per warehouse plan Scan shipments to general Bill of Lading and transmit and verify ASN's (Advanced Shipment Notifications) Complete lift truck daily inspection and fill out check sheet prior to start of each shift Operate Forklift to move empty packaging to home locations Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplace Comply with the requirements of C-TPAT/PIP Conduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of Conduct Report all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behavior Adhere to applicable quality systems and IATF-16949 standards Adhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee Handbook Participate in and support Continuous Improvement initiatives Maintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standards Ensure work area is kept neat and organized Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION :


Minimum completion of Grade 12 diploma Valid Fork Lift License
EXPERIENCE :


Minimum 1 year Fork Lift driving experience in a busy manufacturing environment
SKILLS :


Good verbal and written communication skills Computer literate in word & spreadsheet programs Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems Strong interpersonal skills Well-developed organizational and time management skills Experienced lift truck operator, valid lift truck license Must have complete knowledge of all production programs Must have knowledge of Trans4M
