Summary

Meadow Valley Meats is looking for a Full-time Shipper/Receiver to support our existing team in Chilliwack BC. The Warehouse is a fast-paced department, and your shifts will go by quickly. The successful applicant is friendly, honest, a motivated self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills. Regular heavy lifting will be required; therefore, the applicant must be in good physical health and be able to lift up to 50 pounds without discomfort. Narrow Isle Forklift certification/experience is required.

Responsibilities

Picking, palletising, & wrapping orders Manage incoming/outgoing Shipments Prepare/process related documents, verifying products & quantities Maintain records for reporting and tracking. Maintain accurate and organized inventory Perform Inventory counts as required Maintaining a clean organized work space

Qualifications

Proven experience in shipping and receiving roles. Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks. Able to communicate both verbally and in writing. Working knowledge of safe packing methods Demonstrated ability to operate Power Pallet and Narrow Isle Forklift. Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently. Attention to detail in all areas of work. Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills. Strong work ethic and positive team attitude. Able to lift or move up to 50-100 lbs as required.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
