Role Proposition:

Imagine arriving to work at a stunning slope-side hotel after a round of golf or some laps in the bike park. The Shipper Receiver is a vital member of our accounting team. They are detail-oriented and able to work alone or in a group. They are responsible for the storeroom\'s inventory and all incoming and outgoing documentation. They will be shipping and receiving all hotel goods promptly. The shipper receiver will also make weekly trips to Kamloops and work with the Resort shipper receiver to coordinate town trips, share resources and work collaboratively as a team when needed. Physical Requirement:

Heavy: Work activities involve handling loads more than 20 kg; Predominately indoor & outdoor settings

Accountabilities:

  • Receive all hotel goods: Food and Beverage, Maintenance, and Rooms supply deliveries
  • Inspect deliveries and report issues promptly
  • Complete all necessary documentation as per purchasing and receiving policy
  • Arrive early to meet delivery trucks - scheduled accordingly to operational needs
  • Transfer goods to ordering outlets and departments
  • Pickup ordered goods from Kamloops according to schedule
  • Assist with monthly inventory process by preparing count sheets and counting product
  • Analyze different suppliers to obtain the most cost-effective deals
  • Handle Canada Post and Courier deliveries
  • Ensure that the loading bay is organized and clean
Ideal Candidate:
  • Good physical condition and able to lift 50 lbs. (23kg)
  • Have a valid BC Driver\'s license and submit a driver\'s abstract upon acceptance of the job
  • Hold current Food Safe certificate
  • Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Intermediate computer skills using MS Excel and Word
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Dedicated to working within a dynamic team that focuses on collaboration
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Bondable
