starting wage range of $20-$25

Working as part of a strong collaborative team at Advanced Bending, the

Shipper/Receiver

will assist in a variety of jobs to assist in production and shop upkeepand efficiency.

Essential Functions for this Role are:

Receive purchased products and verify against purchase order requirements Receive customer-supplied products and verify against customer requirements Both directly and through delegation, load and unload trucks using forklifts and other lifting equipment Generate packing slips, calculate weights, determine dimensions Ensure shipments are packaged according to customer requirements Identify incoming material with work order number and customers name as applicable Organize and directing the movement of traffic and materials in the yard Organize and directing the maintenance of cleanliness in the yard Communicate with office and shop staff via radio Work in accordance with the quality management system Complete all applicable quality records Work in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable records

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills required:

Superior organization skills to keep stock locations organized Excellent communication skills Able to lift up to 50Lbs Ability to be a team player and step in to support your team and department when needed High school education or GED equivalent Computer Skills an asset Forklift Certification an asset Overhead Crane experience Knowledgeable re shop procedures Minimum 3-month Material Handling Quality management system knowledge
