About the Role

Our Traffic and Logistics Department is looking for dedicated individuals to join our Shipping Department in Belleville.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for well-organized and efficient preparation and handling of incoming and outgoing materials;
• Stage, scan and load outboard shipments in a timely manner;
• Print bar code labels;
• Keep an organized finished goods and dock area;
• Unload inbound customer owned containers and receive in proper Customer Systems;
• Maintain intra-plant transfers rapid movement and accuracy through Blackhawk process;
• Receive all inbound shipments through Blackhawk process;
• Maintain scan to location;
• Load and unload storage trailers as required by following the required process to ensure inventory accuracy.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for qualified candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent required;
• Valid Driver\'s License and ability to travel between plants required;
• Valid Forklift License is required;
• Minimum one (1) year practical experience working as a Material Handler required;
• Success candidates must be willing to obtain training and valid licenses on other mobile equipment (Turret, Tugger, etc.) and use as required.

Your preferred qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following skillsets:

• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems;
• Ability to initiate process optimization/performance improvements;
• Computer proficiency;- working knowledge of Blackhawk, Microsoft Office and Trans4m
• Strong listening and English communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to work as a part of a team, as well as independently
• Ability to adapt to a fast paced ever-changing environment
• Familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations
• Self-motivated - initiate and follow through tasks through to completion
