Plas Tech Extrusions is a leader in custom plastic extrusion, committed to quality, efficiency, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for an experienced Shipper/Receiver who brings a strong understanding of warehouse operations, material flow, and logistics to support our fast-paced production environment.

Position Overview

The Shipper/Receiver is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and safe movement of materials in and out of the facility. This role requires strong organization & communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work proactively with production, quality, and administrative teams. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in shipping/receiving, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping

Prepare orders for shipment including picking, packaging, labeling, and verifying materials. Ensure all outgoing shipments meet customer requirements and internal quality standards. Generate and manage all shipping documentation (BOLs, packing slips, courier labels, customs paperwork if required). Coordinate carrier pickups and schedule freight efficiently. Load trucks safely using forklift or pallet jack.
Receiving

Receive incoming raw materials, components, and supplies in accordance with purchasing documents. Inspect incoming goods for accuracy, damage, and quality before acceptance. Record and process receipts in the inventory system; direct materials to proper storage locations. Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods to management promptly.
Inventory & Warehouse Management

Maintain accurate counts through regular cycle counts and inventory audits. Organize warehouse layout for optimal efficiency, cleanliness, and safety. Track material movement between warehouse and production. Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored according to company standards.
Documentation & Systems

Update ERP/Inventory systems accurately and in real-time. Maintain organized records of shipments, receipts, inventory adjustments, and carrier information. Ensure compliance with internal policies, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Safety & Compliance

Follow and promote all company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and equipment. Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely (valid certification an asset). Keep shipping/receiving and warehouse areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience in a shipper/receiver role; manufacturing or plastics industry experience preferred. Strong understanding of logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations. Proficiency with shipping software, ERP systems, and inventory management tools. Ability to read and interpret packing slips, BOLs, purchase orders, and production documents. Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the day. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
