Kletke Seed Farm Ltd is a North American leader in high-quality seed coating and seed cleaning, located southeast of Teulon, Manitoba. Our core business activities include cleaning forages (timothy and alfalfa), treating forage, canola and soybeans, repackaging corn, custom packaging, climate-controlled storage of product and seed distribution.

Kletke Seed Farm Ltd is seeking an individual to fill the position of Shipper/ Labourer.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Shipper/Labourer undertakes the core responsibilities of the warehouse including receiving returns, picking, checking, and loading product, sorting product, inventory management, bagging samples, and working closely with plant and office personnel to complete plant processes.

Time permitting, they will also complete tasks related to bagging a variety of product, manual labour, filling mini totes and proboxes, and various duties related to maintenance and production.

Principal Duties

Pick and check loads Load and unload trucks Bag samples of returned product Scan product into and out of inventory Keep all work areas clean and tidy Monitor damages on returns Operate a forklift, power tools, sweeper, palletizer, plastic wrapper, sewing machine and denester Help physically count inventory Coordinate movement of product with the other shippers Contribute to and participate in the success of our Quality Management System Meet all legal and other requirements (e.g. Workplace Safety and Health, Environment Act, and contractual obligations) Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Grade 12 1-3 years of experience directly related to warehousing and logistics is an asset Certified forklift operator Must be considerate and can interact with other employees, supervisors, management, and customers in a professional manner High-level mathematical, analytical and communication skills Strong initiative, utilizes creativity and capable of working with minimal supervision Basic computer skills Ability to lift 50 lbs. Possess a valid Province of Manitoba driver's license
