Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and the ability to operate various material handling equipment. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.

Duties

Load and unload shipments using forklifts, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging and labeling products according to company standards Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders, and document receipt in warehouse management systems such as MRPs or AS400 Maintain accurate inventory records through order picking, order fulfillment, and stock replenishment Utilize warehouse distribution systems to track inventory movement and update records promptly Assist in order picking for e-commerce orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment Operate order pickers and other equipment safely to meet daily shipping and receiving targets Conduct basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and packaging requirements Ensure safety protocols are followed during all loading, unloading, and storage activities

Experience

Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), MRPs, or AS400 is advantageous Experience operating forklifts and reach trucks is highly desirable; certification is a plus Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures within a warehouse environment Experience with order fulfillment for e-commerce platforms is beneficial Ability to perform basic math accurately for inventory counts and measurements Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in order picking and packaging tasks
This position requires a proactive individual capable of working efficiently in a dynamic warehouse setting while maintaining safety standards. Prior experience with warehouse distribution processes, equipment operation, and inventory management systems will contribute to success in this role.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
