Job Description


We have over 60 years of experience specializing in the design, manufacture, and custom fabrication of engineered polyethylene systems for water, wastewater, and storm water management applications. We offer our clients full-service engineering support in the design and manufacture of custom systems to meet the project\xe2\x80\x99s specific requirements.

We are currently looking for energetic and qualified individuals, to work as Shippers/Receivers in our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Shipping Department. The responsibilities of this role include the loading/unloading of tractor trailers, processing orders for shipment, and inventory counts as required. This individual must have previous experience with operating heavy equipment (large wheel loaders or fork trucks).

Responsibilities:

  • Sorting, packaging, and loading finished product onto flatbed trucks
  • Verify all inbound and outbound shipments through inspecting, and counting/measuring for correct quantities
  • Check product for accuracy, while ensuring timely delivery of incoming/outgoing products
  • Place stock in assigned locations; organize and maintain stock holding areas
  • Participate in periodic inventory of shipping area
  • Deliver materials to the plant, including starter pipe and other supplies. Deliver product from plant to the shipping loading and storage areas
  • Prepare shipments by pulling, assembling, palletizing, stretch wrapping, packaging, and labeling product
Requirements:
  • 3+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, year-round
  • Must have previous forklift experience, with preference given to operators who have experience with 20,000 \xe2\x80\x93 30,000 lb forklifts
  • Must have valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license, with a clean driving record
  • Experience with FIFO inventory management and scan gun technology, as it applies to shipping and receiving, would be an asset
  • Able to perform the physical requirements of the role (able to lift at least 50 lbs on a regular basis)
  • Experience with various hand and power tools required for the packaging of products
We Offer:
  • Starting wage of $19.75 per hour
  • $2,000.00 Signing and retention bonus; $1,000.00 payable after 6 months\xe2\x80\x99 continuous employment and another $1,000.00 payable after 1 full year of continuous employment
