Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of shipping and receiving goods, maintaining inventory levels and ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

Shipping:

Pick orders accurately. Prepare shipping documentation. Package orders securely.

Receiving:

Confirm received goods against documentation. Unpack orders. Count and record items received accurately. Assess and report any damage, and follow up until resolved. Complete receiving documentation and procedures. Put received items into stock as directed.

Contacting Shipping Companies:

Obtain rates. Schedule shipments. Resolve issues with shipments or damaged goods.

Computer/ERP Data Entry:

Scan and upload shipping documents. Enter purchase receipts. Create and process shipments.

Inventory Management:

Maintain inventory levels as directed. Assist with re-organizing inventory. Participate in inventory counts.

Other Responsibilities:

Assist with assembly & dis-assembly processes (if required). Perform warehouse maintenance and cleaning, including snow removal/de-icing from walkways and removal of recycling, pallets, and garbage. Complete priority daily tasks as required. Adhere to safety protocols while operating equipment and handling materials.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of shipping & receiving processes. Experience with ERP systems. Forklift certification or experience High School diploma Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required. Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
