Position Summary:

At FFS Distributors, we pride ourselves on our customer service. Established in 2010, we have quickly become a leader in the distribution of petroleum equipment and products. We provide solutions for petroleum projects whether small scale, large scale or design build. We are a stocking distributor for fuel and oil storage tanks and dispensing equipment, as well as service station equipment and fuelling equipment for backup generators.

Duties and Responsibilities:

General physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment (forklift, dolly, pallet jack).

Assisting to fit up brand new, empty fuel tanks with pumps, hoses and accessories.

Unpack material. Verify quality and quantities received against applicable documentation.

Pack, seal and prepare documentation for outgoing shipments, using shipping software such as Purolator, APEX, and FedEx.

Contact transport companies and suppliers to trace, expedite or return material.

Maintain warehouse and shipping/receiving areas.

Participate in taking inventory. Maintain inventory levels.

Order and store shipping supplies

Deliver material to customers using pickup truck, flatbed or enclosed trailer as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma

Valid driver's license

At least two years related shipping/receiving/warehouse

Forklift operator certification an asset

Ability to assemble material using a pipe wrench

Physical ability to perform essential duties (stand, bend, lift, carry loads of up to 70 lbs and unload orders)

Excellent time management skills

Must possess attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to problem solve and prioritize

Follow procedures and adhere to policies such as Health and Safety and WHMIS

Applicant must have own transportation as this location is not on a bus route.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
