Position Overview
The successful individual will assist in maintaining and organization of food and beverage products. They will be responsible for working closely with departments to ensure all their daily orders are picked and delivered. They will also assist in receiving products, unloading of delivery trucks and storing the products in the fridges and freezers in our storeroom.
The incumbent should expect to be working mostly inside with occasional outside work in any, all and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
This is a full-time seasonal role, 5 days out of 7 per week. Alberta Employment Standards regarding probationary periods apply.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse experience an asset.
Must be physically capable of meeting demands of the position: standing, walking, bending, lifting 80lbs and pushing carts
Comfortable using computer and various software
Knowledge of procurement software and invoicing
Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and write orders
Knowledge of food services and health and safety procedures
Ability to work under pressure in an extremely busy environment and organize work to ensure a smooth operation
Must be able to lift up to 15 kilograms and push up to 50 kilograms
Ability to work in varying temperatures throughout the day (inside and outside)
Able to ski/snowboard in varying conditions
Valid class 5 driver's license (or better).

Job Duties/Responsibilities
Adhering to Alberta's safe food handling guidelines in maintaining a clean and safe workspace and daily temperature recordkeeping.
Ensuring all food & beverage products received are properly stored in the fridges & freezers, while maintaining proper first in, first out rotation.
Unload merchandise from delivery trucks as needed.
Maintaining proper inventory counts and daily/weekly on hand spot checks to verify inventory counts
Participation in inventory counts.
Daily cleaning of storage areas.
Maintain personal physical health & safety awareness in moving and lifting stock
Ensure a clean and safe working environment
Other duties as needed.

Work in a safe efficient manner; point out any safety concerns that would put any employee or guest in an unsafe situation
