Job Description
Our client is a technical products supplier, servicing multiple industries including oil & gas, municipal, paper, food processing and they are looking for an experienced Shipper/Receiver to join their team in Edmonton. Responsibilities,
- Load and unload product, with some hand bombing required
- Identify and prepare orders for shipment, inspecting for any flaws or damage
- Product assembly using basic hand and power tools
- Work with POS, bills of lading and shipping manifests
Requirements,
- Proven proficiency on the counterbalance forklift
- 2 - 3 years of forklift experience are preferred, current certification would be an asset
- Must be a good communicator and proficient speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Must have good math skills and attention-to-detail
- Computer proficiency
- Mechanical aptitude
- Accountable and responsible in proactively resolving issues in a timely manner
- Must have steel-toed footwear
