Job Description
Our busy client is a leader in the industrial heating systems industry; servicing chemical, commercial and oil and gas companies and they are looking to add to their dynamic team! If you are a skilled shipper/receiver, have experience in the industrial manufacturing field, and you are looking for a solid career with a great company -- read on!
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading product using forklift and/or pallet jack
- Identify and prepare orders for shipment, inspecting for any flaws or damage
- Use of an RF scanner to put inventory into locations
- Regular safety inspections of the forklift, communicating any issues directly to the supervisor
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks as required
- Forklift and/or pallet jack experience is required
- 2 - 3 years of warehouse experience
- Experience loading, unloading, and maneuvering product
- Must be a good communicator and proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- Must have strong attention to detail to compare product numbers quickly
- Accountable and responsible to proactively and effectively resolving issues in a timely manner
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50-60 lbs
- Steel-toed boots in good repair
- Comfortable day shift of 8:00 - 4:30 Monday to Friday
