We are looking for a Shipper/Receiver/Logistical support member to join our team. The successful candidate's responsibilities will include assisting the inventory manager and specialist in operating the stock system, preparation of packing slips and parts lists. Physical Inventory control and shipping and receiving. The position will work closely with the shop manager to control all shipping and receiving, parts retrieval, stock counts, stock organization/maintaining stock takeout logs. When not occupied with shipping/receiving/inventory other shop tasks will be assigned by the shop manager and the inventory manager.
This position suits a hands on candidate who is comfortable working on tasks in the manufacturing facility and at satellite warehouse facilities. The candidate must have previous logistical experience.
The candidate must be capable of completing time sensitive tasks as assigned. The candidate must also be expert in documentation and record keeping. The candidate must have a valid drivers license and forklift operators licence.

Key Responsibilities:
Do all shipping and receiving functions including loading/unloading trucks
Assist Inventory and shop managers on the production and shipping of multiple concurrent projects. Be trained on STS specific shipping documentation and record keeping
Be familiar with BOMS and parts lists
Assist in inventory and quality control
Assist with general manufacturing plant shop tasks as requested.
Qualifications and skills:
Secondary level education. Trades education would be an asset.
Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Good time management skills and ability to prioritize jobs and workload
Excellent documentation and organizational skills
Familiarity with BOMS, excel type spreadsheets and word documents.
Extensive logistical experience with warehousing including operating a forklift.
Ability to master a 200 item parts list.
Knowledge of cable bus manufacture would be an asset
Ability to speak Tagalog not required but would be an asset.
