Short Description

The purpose of the Shipper/Receiver position is to utilize the expertise of the candidate to support the needs of the branch in a professional, safe and timely manner. An individual in this position will work as part of a team to handle the shipping/receiving, and keep the parts area clean and organized, in order to provide our customers reliability, consistency and the highest standards possible.

Responsibilities

Receiving parts and allocating them on work orders

Returning parts

Loading/Unloading of rental items & other inventoried product/materials/supplies

Arranging daily & immediate orders for shipping, as required

Maintain cleanliness and organization of yard and shop

Assist with routine maintenance of inventory

Advise Management of any issues

Re-stock shelves at the branch

Ensure Corporate Safety Program is strictly followed, including all safety rules and safe work practices

Skills

• Ability to handle assorted tools properly and safely
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 LBs
• Ability to operate large, heavy machinery
• Customer service skills
• Understands the importance of time management, standards of operating procedures, owner's manuals and product/warning labels

Educational Background

High School Diploma/GED
