Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a permanent Shipper for our brand-new, fully automated 660,000 square foot distribution centre in Johnstown, ON! Shipper HighlightsDrive forklifts and low lift pallet jacks through high trafficked areas with a focus on safe and efficient operation Verify and organize wrapped pallets Prepare and lane wrapped pallets, ensuring they in the correct pallet location Load wrapped pallets onto trucks with care and precision Maintain a daily productivity count Support other departments when necessary, as directed by the supervisor

Shipper RequirementsConduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and complies with Ontario Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) standards Capable of sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting heavy objects throughout shift Comfortable in a noisy, fast-paced environment and operating forklift in confined areas Punctual, self-motivated, attention to detail and spatially aware of surroundings Basic math and PC skills

Shipper AssetsCompletion of High School; Experience in a warehouse environment Experience with a Warehouse Management System Experience operating a forklift or similar machine Positive attitude Class G2 or higher driver's licence

Schedule:
Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am
