Shipper (Overhead Crane Operator) _ $22.00 to $28.00 (Based on Experience)
Our client is seeking a shipper/loader to join the team in Winnipeg Manitoba
The shipper is responsible for loading fabricated structural steel onto flat deck semi trailers. Loading structural steel on semi trailers using a 10 ton overhead bridge crane as per shipping list supplied to the shipper.

- Safely operating 10 ton overhead bridge cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials
- Load and unload trucks, operate forklift and other material handling equipment
- Upon unloading vendor shipments or customer returns, obtain the packing slip and verify material received.
- Pick material for customer orders, counting and comparing items to the shipping documentation
- Assemble material and pack appropriately for pick up or shipment to customer
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in operating overhead crane is an asset
- A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and any other material handling equipment
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and accurately process orders
