at Supership, you'll be responsible for preparing, labeling, and staging all outbound orders for carrier pickup. You'll work closely with the Outbound Warehouse Supervisor and fulfillment team to ensure that orders are packed to spec, manifesting is completed accurately, and shipments are processed in line with carrier schedules and client requirements.
You will report to the Outbound Warehouse Supervisor, and when unavailable, to the Warehouse Manager on duty.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Order Processing
Verify packed orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
Apply correct shipping labels and documents based on destination, weight, and carrier requirements.
Stage shipments by carrier (Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, etc.) and service level to meet daily cutoffs.
Operate barcode scanners, weigh scales, and label printers.
Accurately apply charges to client accounts according to billing procedures.
Carrier Manifesting & Dispatch
Create and close daily manifests in carrier portals or WMS (e.g. Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) for each carrier.
Load shipments for pickup and verify handoff with drivers.
Coordinate with carriers and report missed pickups or delays.
Customs & Returns Support
Assist in preparing customs documents for international shipments as needed.
Ensure international orders are labeled and documented in compliance with regulations.
Support outbound RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processing for warranty replacements or client returns.
Problem Resolution & Order Flow
Flag orders with issues and place them into the
Packing Hospital
queue.
Notify the Outbound Supervisor of shipment errors, damaged goods, or exceptions.
Work with the team to resolve packing issues and minimize repeat mistakes.
Workstation Maintenance & Cleanliness
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean shipping area.
Return tools and supplies to proper locations at the end of each shift.
Proactively restock shipping supplies as needed.
Performance & Process Improvement
Contribute to outbound KPIs including daily ship volume, accuracy, and timeliness.
Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to shipping processes.
Support seasonal surges and high-volume periods with flexibility and teamwork.
Participate in warehouse cross-training (e.g., receiving, transfers, inventory counts).
Perform other warehouse tasks as directed by the Outbound Supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of warehouse experience in shipping or fulfillment roles (3PL experience preferred).
Familiarity with shipping software, carrier portals, and warehouse systems (WMS, ShipStation, etc.).
Ability to lift/move packages up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks safely.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and accountability.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines.
Forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain).
Basic understanding of customs forms and international shipping is a plus..
