We are hiring to build a robust Talent and Development team to support our bakeries and Team Members.

Job Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Wage: $18.17/hour, plus night shift premium of $2.00/hour (if applicable)
Shift: flexibility with working overtime and on weekends, as necessary

Job Responsibilities:

• Work as part of the Shipping Team to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and product quality of customer orders;
• Work in the warehouse and in/out of the freezer, operating a Stand-up and/or Counter Balance forklift, and pallet walk-behind;
• Move stacks of bread from the shipping area into the trailers using a dolly;
• Move empty stacks of bread trays from the trailer into the plant using a dolly;
• Organize production floor, freezer & aisles (maintain required number of trays for packaging & finished products);
• Pick orders and fill trailer in correct order.
• Complete all paperwork including forklift daily inspection and conduct food safety checks on trailer.

Job Requirements:

• Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment (even better if it was food manufacturing!)
• You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are self-reliant, and be energized by opportunities to learn and grow, and be a steward of your own career
• Forklift license and knowledge of SAP an advantage
• You have a very good understanding of warehouse Shipping/Receiving procedures and equipment.
• Be a lover of bread and baked goods!
