As a Shipper you will be responsible for overseeing product orders, managing incoming shipments, maintaining shipping records, preparing reports for management, addressing shipping and inventory issues, ensuring environmental compliance, and providing customer support as needed:

Duties and Responsibilities

Facilitate the acquisition and processing of product orders. Coordinate with on-site staff to manage all incoming shipments effectively. Maintain organized records of goods shipped and received. Generate and submit regular shipping and receiving reports to management. Address and resolve shipping or inventory-related issues promptly by bringing these to the Shipping Supervisors or the Shipping Manager. Ensure compliance with environmental management and safety protocols. Handle the movement, packing, and scanning of products, particularly fragile items like glass. Provide customer assistance and support as necessary. Safely operate a forklift to move racks of glass within the facility. Collaborate with team members during offloading and shipping processes. Enforce adherence to safety policies, procedures, and practices at all times. Perform other shipping duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications



Minimum six months of experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field. Valid forklift operator certification is required; with one year of experience in forklift operation. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Experience with skid steer is an asset. Demonstrated commitment to following safety protocols rigorously. Ability to lift and move 35-50 pounds consistently throughout shifts as needed. Strong dedication to ensuring quality and efficiency in all tasks.
