Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our Railing and Molding Divisions, ensuring that installer jobs and customer orders are accurately picked in a timely manner. This position requires someone who is reliable and who can motivate themselves to stay focused and on task.

Responsibilities

Accurately and consistently pull railing and molding orders, carefully selecting material for quality Drive a company vehicle and install temporary railings on job sites as well as delivering railing materials around town Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging and labeling them correctly Assist other employees on job sites in the Edmonton area who are installing stairs, railings, or glass Maintain an organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Assist other shop staff with their duties as requested Be willing to be trained on various woodworking tools such as saws, routers, sanders, and shapers

Experience

Previous experience in warehouse distribution or shipping/receiving roles is beneficial, but we are willing to train the right candidate Basic math skills and a familiarity with an imperial measuring tape and understanding inches and fractions Experience operating forklifts is highly beneficial A drivers license and clean drivers abstract is required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required to ensure accuracy in all tasks Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
We are looking for someone who can work full time, can work independently as well as part of a team, takes direction, and has a good eye for details. This is the perfect entry level job for someone who wants to get into woodworking.

We offer a 44 hour work week, with no overtime or weekend work required. After a 3 month probationary period you will receive a Quickcard health spending account. Wage is based on experience.
