ROLE

We are seeking a Full Time Shipper/Packager for our office/warehouse in Calgary to assist with the overall warehouse operations of deliveries. Our ideal candidate is organized; punctual; thrives in a fast paced, competitive work environment; able to follow instructions; works well in a team environment; willing to learn; has the ability to multi-task and understands the need for flexibility within the workplace, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and efficiency and on time schedule.

Responsibilities:

Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures. Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. May direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments. May receive damaged or defective goods returned to establishment. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Ability to Read Shipping Documents Minimum 2 years experience. Able to speak and write English. Able to lift 40 Lbs.

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
