At our

Stratford Facility

we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck, defense and off-road equipment companies. We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly departments and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate.

Primary Responsibilities:

Organize shipping & receiving department. Label parts for shipping documents. Make transportation/trucking arrangements. Checking shipments received against bills of lading, invoices or purchase orders to ensure that any discrepancies are identified and brought to the appropriate departments' attention. Inspecting shipments for damage and recording details. Check part numbers and quantities to be shipped. Generate packing slips for parts to be shipped. Co-ordinate forklift and truck maintenance. Building appropriate shipment skids and proper packaging techniques. Ship control documents, custom papers and packing slips. Maintain Incoming / Outgoing inspections of material, supplies, and finished product. Co-ordination the movement of inventory throughout the plants. Receiving of inventory. Expediting material through the Visual system Work with Quality Assurance inspecting all incoming and outgoing parts. Maintain / clean and organize the yard outside the plant. Follow all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures.

Educational Requirements:

Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

Required Skills & Expertise:

Knowledge and training of Hazardous good and truck regulations Forklift driving experience Knowledge of crane operation Previous experience in doing inventory, shipping, receiving, Computer skills in Word, Excel ERP ( visual) Excellent communication skills Valid G drivers license Ability to work independently and as a part of a team Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Equipment/ Tools/ Technology Used: Forklift experience (counterbalance) ERP experience (Visual Manufacturing)

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures. Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
