In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing shingles on residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities

Install and repair shingles on roofs according to specifications and blueprints. Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete roofing tasks. Perform caulking to ensure proper sealing of shingles and prevent leaks. Conduct inspections of roofs to identify any issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to safety standards. Assist in heavy lifting of materials as required during installation processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools are properly stored after use.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or carpentry is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and roofing equipment is essential. Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions accurately. Experience in caulking techniques is a plus. Must be capable of heavy lifting and physical labor for extended periods. Previous maintenance person experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
