Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual for the position of shingler/labourer. The ideal candidate will have experience in the roofing industry, be comfortable with heavy lifting, comfortable going up to 3 stories in height, and ensure that all projects are completed to high standards. We need someone with strong work ethic, able to withstand the summer heat. Looking for someone who has some experience under their belt however eager to learn and expand their knowledge as we do offer shingles, metal and flat roofing. Soffit, fascia, siding and seamless eavestrough.

Duties

Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform installation tasks. Apply caulking and sealants to ensure proper weatherproofing. Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as needed for various projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience in the roofing industry, 2 years experience or more considered an asset. Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting (up to 85 pounds) as required by the job. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Job Type: Casual

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week

Roofing: 2 years (preferred)
