Job Overview

Looking to learn a trade? We are seeking Roofers and Laborers for a full time permanent position. Ideal candidates will have some type of roofing experience, but we are willing to train the right person. Must be comfortable working at heights on sloped roofs. Must be reliable and preference will be given to those will drivers licenses and fall arrest tickets. Pay is negotiable and or based on experience.

Responsibilities

Install shingles on roofs according to specifications. Reading workorders Working at heights Perform heavy lifting and maneuver materials safely on-site. Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing shingles. Apply caulking as needed to ensure waterproofing of roofs. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure proper installation techniques are followed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.

Experience

Proven experience as a Shingler or in a related maintenance person role is preferred. Familiarity with various hand tools used in roofing applications is required. Experience in carpentry or building is a plus, enhancing overall skill set for the role. Strong physical condition with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
