Responsibilities



Lead and supervise daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality food presentation and safety standards. Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently. Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs. Handle cash management duties including cash handling, balancing registers, and preparing financial reports at shift end. Train, mentor, and develop staff members to enhance their skills in food service, customer interaction, and safety procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to promote a safe dining environment. Assist in hiring new team members through interviewing and selecting qualified candidates. Support kitchen management tasks such as food production coordination, quality control, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Implement operational procedures related to catering, banquets, or special events when applicable. Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, motivation, and conflict resolution. Collaborate with management on budgeting efforts, sales goals, and performance metrics to drive business growth.

Skills



Proven experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management within quick service or fast food restaurants. Strong familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally. Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, team management, and leadership capabilities. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and food cost management to maximize profitability. Ability to manage shift operations effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and service excellence. Background in hospitality management or restaurant experience across casual dining or fine dining settings preferred. Skilled in interviewing candidates and developing staff through training & development initiatives. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling, reporting, and compliance documentation. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the restaurant environment.
