Job Description

Chatham Kent Liquidation is a growing discount retailer offering quality products at affordable prices. We are looking to hire a shift supervisor with strong merchandising & cashier experience, at 32-40 hours per week. Work schedule days can range from Sunday through Saturday 9:00am-5:30pm.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends Ability to use POS systems; training will be provided Creating a welcoming environment by greeting all customers as they walk through the doors Providing excellent customer service by ensuring the customer takes priority Assessing customers' needs to be able to provide information and assistance about products and services Being knowledgeable to answer questions regarding products, promotions and sales Keeping all customers' personal information such as addresses, credit card info and all our suppliers' details and pricing confidential Ensuring the pricing on products is up to date, creating and changing labels as required Maintaining presentable visual merchandising by keeping displays in order Inspect and test items for proper function and assess conditions Assist in receiving stock Processing new inventory Assist in the organization of the stockroom and providing a clean, consistent, and inviting store environment that inspires customers to shop Housekeeping and cleaning duties include but not limited to dusting, cleaning bathroom, vacuuming, and removing trash Being able to work independently and as a team with other co-workers Following company policy and procedures Maintaining professional dress and attitude at all times Other duties as required

Day Range:

Must be able to work Sunday through Saturday Additional days as needed

What You'll Need:

Experienced preferred Preference given to individuals with supervisor/keyholder experience Starting wage $19.00 per hour with a raise after 3 months based on experience & performance

Physical Requirements (with reasonable accommodation)

Able to pack and unpack shipments, arrange and move store fixtures and move packages weighing up to 50lb (with assistance) Able to reach for merchandise using ladders, step stools, etc.
